Caution: Use only approved coolant. Check the concentration of the coolant and eliminate the cause of its loss at the service station of the official LADA dealer.

The coolant level should be between the MIN and MAX marks on the expansion tank body, which is made of a translucent material that allows you to visually monitor the fluid level. During vehicle operation, the coolant level in the expansion tank may decrease. Too low a coolant level can cause engine damage.

Warning! Do not remove the expansion tank cap when the engine and radiator are hot. This may cause serious burns. Make sure the engine is cool before opening the lid.

After filling the coolant, the plug must be tightly screwed in, since the system is under pressure when the engine is running and warmed up.

Attention! The need to frequently top up the coolant may indicate a malfunction of the engine cooling system. Contact an authorized LADA dealer to check the cooling system.

Adding tap water to the cooling system may damage the cooling system. The use of tap water and antifreezes based on methanol and other alcohols in the cooling system is not permitted.

Otherwise, the engine may overheat.

Warning!
  • Coolant is a hazardous substance! Avoid regular or prolonged contact with coolant.
  • After contact with coolant, clean your skin and nails with soap or a special cleaner. keep coolant out of reach of children. Coolant is irritating to skin and may cause poisoning or death if swallowed.
