Open the tailgate.
Loosen the three screws 1, Figure 5-1, securing the additional brake light (torx T30 replaceable head, ratchet).
By squeezing the clamps 3, remove the additional brake light from the mounting hole in the tailgate.

Close the tailgate, disconnect the wiring harness block 1 and the washer nozzle tube 4 from the additional brake light 2, Figure 5-2.
Fold back decorative cap 5 of wiper arm 6, unscrew nut 3 securing arm, remove arm assembly with brush (spanner 13).

Open the tailgate.
Loosen screws 1, Figure 5-3, securing trim 2 to the rear door (torx T20 replaceable head, ratchet).

Remove the rear door trim with a force that overcomes the force of the holders.
Unscrew the two bolts securing the lock 6, Figure 5-4, of the rear door (torx T30 replaceable head, ratchet).

Remove the lock, disconnect the 3-wire harness connector of the rear door from the lock.
Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the windshield wiper motor 2.
Drill out rivets 5 securing the windshield wiper gear motor to the tailgate, remove the gear motor (drill, drill 05 mm).
Unscrew the four nuts 1, Figure 5-5, securing the trim 2 of the rear door, remove the trim by disconnecting the connectors of the rear door wiring harness from the license plate lights 3 and the switch 4 of the lock, installed on the trim body (replacement head 10, ratchet, flat screwdriver).

Disconnect the connectors of harness 3, see Figure 5-4, of the tailgate wires from terminals 1 of the tailgate glass heating, the harness attachment points to the door panel and remove the harness from the tailgate cavity (flat head screwdriver).
Remove the buffers 4 and the rubber plugs of the holes of the inner panel of the tailgate (flat head screwdriver).
Disconnect the gas 1, Fig. 5-6, tailgate stops from the door, unscrew the stop hinges from the door (flat screwdriver, 13 mm spanner, technological stop)

If it is necessary to completely dismantle the gas strut, disconnect the other end of the strut from the body (flat screwdriver, 13 mm spanner).
Dismantling of the rear door glass shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of Section 1 6 of this TI.
Loosen two bolts 2 on the right and left sides that secure the tailgate to the movable hinge links, remove the tailgate, and perform the operation with an assistant. (replacement head 10, ratchet).
Install the tailgate and its mechanisms in the reverse order of removal, while:
- ensure uniformity of the gaps between the tailgate and the mating body panels;
- lubricate the rubbing surfaces of the lock and the hinge axles of the tailgate (lSC-15 grease, consumption rate - 5 g);
- check the operation of the tailgate lock. The lock should close and open without jamming.
If it is necessary to dismantle the rear door hinge, remove the side window trim on the side of the hinge being dismantled, remove the ceiling trim holders in its rear part, in accordance with the requirements of Section 10 of this TI.
Loosen the nut securing the hinge to the body and remove the hinge (replacement head 10, ratchet).
Present the vehicle to the Quality Control Department. The Quality Control Department will check the vehicle for compliance with the requirements of this TI and TU 017200-254-0023934 in the scope of work performed.
