External manifestation of a malfunction / breakdown / problem: Corrosion of the shock absorber support bearing, creaking and additional effort when turning the steering wheel.
Probable Cause: Corrosion caused by salt, dirt and/or water entering the bearing. To prevent foreign particles from entering the bearing, do not use high pressure when washing the car.
External manifestation of malfunction / breakdown / problem: Damage to the rubber support pad.
Probable Cause: Degradation of rubber pad material caused by salt, dirt and/or harsh operating conditions. Damage to the rubber element leads to a reduction in the service life, comfort and damping characteristics of the bearing assembly.
External manifestation of a malfunction / breakdown / problem: Damage to the shock absorber rod.
Probable cause: Damage to the chrome surface of the rod and leakage of the shock absorber occurred due to wear on the bump stop and anther. This negatively affects the performance of the suspension and reduces driving safety. The consequence of a malfunction is a deterioration in the performance of the suspension and a decrease in the level of safety.
External manifestation of a malfunction / breakdown / problem: Damage to the shock absorber bumper.
Probable cause: As a rule, this is due to severe operating conditions and mechanical damage to the roadway elements. Deformation of the fender negatively impacts suspension performance and poses a potential safety hazard.
