Periodic polishing of the car body is necessary not only to improve the appearance of the car, but also to protect the body from corrosion and destruction of the paintwork. The fact is that when operating a car, the paintwork; the coating is constantly damaged. Even the smallest cracks begin to accumulate particles of dirt and water, which leads to the gradual destruction of the paintwork and the appearance of pitting corrosion of the car body. Polishing allows for deep cleaning of the car body and the creation of a durable protective film on its surface.

Polishing a car body is not as simple a process as it may seem. This section discusses methods of polishing the car body using non-professional means intended for amateur use. Such tools allow you to get a good result quite quickly, but do not require special skills. Don't expect miracles: if there are strong chips or deep scratches on the body surface, it is better to contact a specialized workshop to remove them.

Before polishing, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and wash the body (see above).

Sequence of execution

Recommendation. Before starting work, read the instructions included with the polish.

4. Next, you need to apply a protective polish. There are many types of protective polishes, but their functions and application methods are the same. Therefore, choose the one that you personally like the most. We would just like to add that if the paintwork is not new, has faded or has small chips, it is better to use a protective polish with a color pigment that matches the color of the car.

We apply the protective polish to a special cloth and apply it evenly, without pressing hard, in circular motions to the car body. Let the polish dry for a few minutes until a white coating appears.
