Warning! There are many electronic components in the engine compartment, therefore we do not recommend cleaning the engine compartment with high-pressure cleaners (like most car washes do).
You will need a special engine cleaner to do the job. This preparation contains highly effective detergents that quickly penetrate the layer of burnt oil dirt and dissolve it in the most inaccessible places without additional mechanical action.
Execution sequence
1. We prepare the car for maintenance («Preparing the vehicle for maintenance and repair»).
2. Opening the hood, apply a special cleaner to the parts in the engine compartment.
3. We are waiting for a few minutes (see instructions for use of the drug) Wash away softened dirt. If necessary, additionally apply the agent and clean the surfaces with a brush with a hard bristle.
4. Wipe the parts dry with a clean rag.
5. Blow out with compressed air (from compressor or foot pump) engine and engine compartment to remove residual moisture.
Recommendations. To protect engine parts from contamination and give them an attractive appearance, you can treat the engine compartment with a thermal varnish for the engine. Before use, read the instructions for use of the drug. After washing, spray the drive belt cleaner on the pulleys and the accessory drive belt. In order for this agent to be evenly distributed over the surface of the belt, start the engine and let it run for several minutes.
