- Do not run the engine in a room without good ventilation, without
- necessary fire fighting equipment. Strictly follow the rules for handling fuels, lubricants and poisonous materials such as fuel, antifreeze, oils and greases;
- when working in a viewing hole, remember that carbon monoxide is heavier than air; in pits, it can accumulate and cause poisoning;
- do not smoke in the workplace;
- when jacking up the car, use a flat, horizontal hard surface for this, apply the parking brake, put wedges under the wheels so that the car does not roll off the jack. Do not work under a vehicle supported by only one jack - use safety stands. If
- when removing heavy parts and assemblies from the vehicle, use a hoist / rolling jack, properly securing the load to be removed. Then make sure that the load being removed does not damage the surrounding pipelines, hoses or wiring;
- if any maintenance or repair operation requires disconnecting the battery, turn off the ignition, then disconnect the vehicle's on-board network and disconnect the ground wire from the battery to prevent accidental short circuit;
- allow the engine to cool before servicing or repairing; do not touch hot engine parts (exhaust manifold, muffler, radiator, etc.), that just worked - you can get burned. Do not remove the radiator cap until it has cooled down - you can get scalded;
- when servicing the vehicle, cover painted parts of the body and upholstery with protective covers or plastic covers; try not to scratch or stain the car body and cab upholstery elements;
- thoroughly wash/clean the assembly before checking and assembling it.
